MOTOR CONTROL SUMMER SCHOOL – XXII
(in Massachusetts)
We invite bright, open-minded graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and young professionals
to apply for admission to the Motor Control Summer School # XXII (MCSS-XXII). MCSS-
XXII will be a five-day event, June 25 – June 29, 2025. It will include an arrival day (June 25),
three days of sessions (June 26-28), and a departure day (June 29). We plan to bring together 6-8
faculty and 30-40 students selected from the pool of applicants.
MCSS-XXII is timed to facilitate participation in the “Progress in Motor Control”
Conference, the biennial meeting organized by the International Society of Motor Control,
planned for June 30 – July 2, 2025, in Rhode Island. Those attending MCSS-XXII are
encouraged to stay for the PMC meeting. The two sites are within an easy drive (about 1.5 h).
We expect to have a number of participants (including faculty) with their cars who will offer a
ride to other participants to the PMC site.

As in previous MCSSs, we will have lectures in the morning (9-12) and evening (7-10) with
a hiking break between the lunch and dinner, and Happy Hour after the evening session.
If you would like to participate in MCSS-XXII, please e-mail a letter of interest to Mark
